just got back from Camp Ohana!! i really must say, this has been the best camp i have ever attended, maybe its because i nv really attended camps anyway. hahaha.
i shall start by going through the events of the 4 days in camp.

Day 1:
arrived at SP at 10.15am.. hehe. i was late. had a briefing by ah gong edmund. after briefing, it was time to meet the rest. the camp started out playing ice breakers. broken already. after that, it was time for lunch! nice food actually. ate 2 packs of rice hoho.. then it was time to seperate the groups. my group members consisted of myself, jasmine, weixin, jack, siewkae and karen. we came up with the group name Razrs, inspired by the motorola razr. haha. we painted our flag and came up with a group cheer. our flag was supposed to be the life of the group. we are supposed to keep it safe, like a soldier with his rifle. after that, it was time for dinner and games.
1st game was aptly named "angelic pandemonium". the groups had to go around collecting lightsticks all around SP. Devils and Angels would be present to take away lightsticks and give them. there was a point system for the different coloured lightsticks. my group chionged to the school of business and SMIT to search for lightsticks. when we got there, we were the only ones there. we thought that all the sticks were for us to pick. but when we combed the whole place, not 1 was found. we later found out that they havent placed the sticks there yet. siannnnnn...
it was fun running away from the devils. the adrenaline was pumping so hard, weixin and i hardly felt fatigue. hohoho. after the whole game, we didnt get the most lightsticks but we certainly got the most workout. hahaha. after the angelic pandemonium, it was the nightwalk. members were blindfolded and group leaders were supposed to scare the shit out of them. however, the members i got were too noisy and i couldnt even hear myself scaring them. oh well.. night walk ended early because of rain. went to bathe and then sleep.

day 2:
as usual, i was the last to wake up. hoho. went for a nice lunch. after that, it was time for the food trail. daryl's group and my group made an alliance. we quickly thought of the foods and off we went. after the game, we went back to SP and had our bath and dinner. there was a little group discussion b4 going off to sleep. played CS on my laptop for awhile b4 falling asleep. it was edmunds bday at 12mn so the guys decided to give him alittle present. its called "the strip" haha. we only took off his shirt la. cuz there were girls present in the room. suddenly, there was a rush for the flags. kenneth and edmund grabbed the flags from the members. this resulted in a massive tug-of-war with the flags. daryl owned all of them. hahaha.

day3:
had to wake up early because it was the sentosa event. group members had to find their group leaders at sentosa along a line of clues laid out. jas and i were assigned to be at sakae sushi at siloso beach. well, the thought of the beach just made me wanna jump into the sea and swim. and thats what i did. i got sunburnt though. nice subway sandwiches for lunch. haha. jas wanted ben and jerry's ice cream. so we walked up to the stall. then i saw an old friend from TPJC! wooohooo.. i knew i would get a lobang. haha. so instead of making the price cheaper for me, she gave me bigger scoops. i had really big scoops. hahaha. so cool! nice ice cream. after that, i went back to siloso beach and swam somemore. haha. i wanted to take a shower and change. so walked upwards towards the other end of the beach. i walked past 2 pavilions and there was no shower. ok, that took ten minutes. so i walked back... another ten minutes.. i swear that my feet turned to bak kua after that walk. no shower. dang. bo bian, i wore my shorts with my wet trunks underneath. after the whole event, we went back to SP and took a bath b4 dinner. after dinner, it was time for the mega event!!! because weixin wasnt around and 2 of daryl's group members left early, we decided to merge into one group to present a skit. our skit was amazing gay oriented and we couldnt stop laughing. after the all the skits were presented, the judges announced that all of us had the same marks. hoohohoho!! after the mega event, we celebrated edmunds bday. haha. this time, we didnt strip him, though we tried dragging him into the toilet. haha. there was another night walk tonight. daryl, weixin, jasmine and i decided to go seperately to scare them while the other group was walking about. jsut after starting the nightwalk, i had the urge to relieve my bowels. so off i went back to the toilet. after doing some big business, i decided that my burns were too hiong for me to tahan, so i did not continue with the scaring business. i went back to the room and watched "charmed" on the big projector screen. real nice! oh ya, the aircon condensers at t15 turned off after 11pm. so the aircon was spewing out lots and lots of hot air. it made the room really hot. siann.. had to sleep under such conditions for the 3 nights. haha.

day 4:
i woke up the last as usual and packed my stuff. it was the last day of camp. *sob sob*. we went into the other room and sat down together. all the members had something to say about the camp. we talked about the the preperations of the camp, the events of the camp and the after-feelings of the camp. many of us felt that this camp was quite a life-changing one. we all learnt more about each other an we also learnt about the meaning of true family. after the final dismissal, i had lunch, came home and slept like a pig.
