long time no blog!! haha. i am now in the computer lab sitting beside little cowling and looking at her edit her video assignment. hahah. many things have happened these past few weeks.
firstly, i was assigned choral coordinator of the SP choir. haha. i wonder why. nvm.

secondly, i was assigned chairman of the artistic committee that is gonna plan for this year's "end of year concert" sadly enough, i cant seem to come up with a theme.

thirdly, daryl told me that there was a revenue to do acapella music for the end of year concert. in contrary to popular believes, acapella is not just ppl singing without musical accompaniment. it is a different artistic form of voice music. the traditional publicised a capella songs are mostly barbershop quartets/quintets, where u have 5 guys singing some oldie and lots of "do waps, tm tm tm" sounds. but that makes up only 5% of what a capella music really is. u hear that francis!? ok, apart from that, i have chosen the people who will sing the a capella items for the end of year concert. ahha, they include myself, jasmine, marie, melissa, joyce, nicole, alvin, ernest, kenneth, edmund, mandric(i think) and possibly tze lip when he finishes with the SP musical.

fourthly, weixin just informed me that the SB director and the CCA head has given him endorsements to start a SP A capella club. it will be co-headed by weixin and myself. this club will welcome people of all walks of life. haha. vocal training will be provided as well as musical training. we will be instructed by mr goh eu joe. cant wait to start the club! WHO WANTS TO JOIN??!!! oh yea, i will try to get endorsements from the SMIT director as well. hohoho.. wish me luck!
