I JUST BOUGHT MYSELF A RAZER DIAMONDBACK MOUSE!!! sweetness!! i bought it from JP this morning and i went to test it in a few rounds of CS with daryl in the choir room. i loved it the first time i used it. the sensitivity is very high and the movement is ultra smooth.

it comes with 4 nifty programmable buttons at the side. which you can program things like "ctrl-alt-del" and "alt-f4". of coure, other than helping you with calling up the task manager each time your computer hangs, you can use it to bind certain controls of a game to the key.
included in the package is a program..which you can install into your computer.
you use to program to adjust the sentivity of the mouse, the scroll speed(to scroll down to the best part of high resolution pictures) and the 4 buttons by the side of the mouse. for RPG games, the mouse helps greatly because you dont get jerky screen movement which is often mistaken as "lag". as for strategic games like Age of Empires, Alexander and Warcraft3: Frozen Throne, it wont make much a difference technically but just holding a razer diamondback makes you feel alot stronger somehow...
the package warns that the razer mouse will consume more power than all other conventional mices, but who in the world games on laptop battery... it'll probably last 1 round of DOTA if you're lucky.. if not, then half a round. the mouse is ergonomically shaped to fit the hand. this is a great relief for people whos hands are really strained by controlling a 5cm long mouse..with a scroll wheel. the black tinted plastic casing makes the mouse look really cool when used at night.
overall, i love my razer diamondback. but i'll love a razer copperhead more.. XD..
